Giving a picture some Depth.

In this picture I wanted to add some depth to the picture.


I started by duplicating the layer.
After I had duplicated the new layer I used to Gaussian blur filter on the bottom layer.
(adjust to your liking).


On the duplicated layer I added a mask.

In that mask I filled it with a black to white gradient fill.

While in the mask you could use the paint brush to touch up .
(when you paint on black the image disappears and when -
you paint on white the image returns)
